ProShred Connecticut donates services to local charities

Throughout the year we provide our services for a variety of shredding charity events in Connecticut. These events give us a great opportunity to discuss the importance of proper shredding, and allows us to connect with local communities. Of course we love that we get to help some great organizations that are doing amazing work within CT and the country. These three upcoming events are particularly important to us. Here is more information about how you can take part:

5th Annual Earth Day Shred Event - Saturday April 26, 2014 9am-11am

Done in conjunction with the City of Middletown Recycling Department.
Event FREE to residents. Stop by the Middletown Water Department to drop off any papers you need to be properly destroyed.

Wallingford Emergency Shelter Fundraiser - Saturday May 31, 2014 9am-12pm
Event sponsored by ProShred of CT along with the Midstate Chamber
Visit us at Ullbrich Steel to have your documents securely shredded. This is also a great time to talk to us about your business’ shredding needs, and how we can help protect your business in the future.

American Institute for Cancer Research Fundraiser - Sunday June 1, 2014 11am-2pm
Approximately 30 ProShred locations across the country will be donating their services to benefit the American Institute for Cancer Research.
To have your papers shredded visit us at the Westfield Mall in Meriden. We will have two trucks gathering and shredding documents!

If you want to stay up to date with where we are, and what charities we’re working with, head over to our Facebook page. We try to update as often as possible with our upcoming events. You will also find useful articles and information related to what you should shred, when you should shred it, and why shredding is so important. Who knows, you may learn something new!
